A Little Bit of This and That

Okay I know I've been slacking on my blogging so to make up for it I've posted pictures, lots of them :)

Here's Lily taking a nap on Daddy just thought it was photo worthy :)

Lily falls asleep in some pretty interesting positions this one is fairly normal looking but some of her other ones look like they hurt.

This is Lily's bumbo seat and she loves it!

Lily can now roll over, back to tummy ... she hasn't quite figured out the tummy to back move yet but I think it'll click pretty soon here.

Okay so when Eric and I were out visiting his parents this Thanksgiving his Mom and Dad gave all the couples a Nativity Set as an early Christmas present. The cool thing about it is Eric's Dad made it...carved all of those characters and painted them too!! Thanks again Mom and Dad for the gift we love it!

The Three Wise Men

The Shepherd boy and his Sheep

The whole set :)

Lily smiling after eating a bunch of rice cereal

Look at those big beautiful eyes :)

I love this little girl!

In my family we have a tradition of taking a picture of daddy holding up the baby with one hand, the kid is suppose to stand but as you can see Lily isn't quite ready.

Still not ready, maybe next month :)
Well that's it hope you enjoyed the show!

Baby Talk

Lily has become quite the talker lately and I've gotten a few video clips to prove it :) Both clips have movies playing in the back ground and if you can guess what they are I'll give you brownie points. Oh and in one of these little clips Lily decides to go to the bathroom at the very end, I'm sorry about that, I put it on anyways because its the better of the two clips (of her trying to talk that is, the other one is more of her screaming to be honest). Well enjoy!

So I couldn't get the other clip to download I'll keep trying but for now it's just this one, sorry.

Photo Shoot

My sister Melanie took some pictures of Lillian and me the other day, it was a little windy hence the hair being all over the place and Lily's eyes being half shut most of the time, but despite all of that we had a good time. After the serious pics we thought it would be fun to take a few silly ones, Lily was a good little girl while Mommy and Aunt Mel took a few crazy shots, hope ya all enjoy!

Had to put this one in, Lily is a drool queen (she's not even teething yet!) and with her drool she often blows bubbles isn't she a talented little thing :)

As I said before it was windy :)

We never could quite get Lily to look at the camera oh well maybe better luck next time.
....and
here are some of the crazy pics

Yeah, we had fun maybe a little too much fun :)

What's in The Heating Pipe?

So Sunday night Eric and I heard some scratching noises coming from our furnace room and when we went to investigate it, the noise stopped. Well the next day I kept hearing the same mysterious scratching noise so I went to the furnace room again and finally figured out that the scratching was coming from inside the black heater pipe. I thought for sure it was a rat or a mouse...and with the weather getting colder here I thought we'd better get whatever it was, out of there before we needed to use our heater. Now I don't know about everyone else but I'm not particularly fond of the smell of decaying flesh and personally prefer a homier smell that Yankee candles give off so I called up the Landlord and he came around Wednesday and took care of the problem. Well it ended up being a bird and the poor thing died in the pipe before we could release it back into the wild.

Pictures of Lily

Lily is growing fast so I thought I'd post a few pictures of her modeling some super cute outfits she's received from family.

Thanks Sharee for the outfit and Natalie for the bow!!

Lily really enjoys standing up, unfortunately she almost always tosses her cookies when she pulls this stunt, we're hoping that one day she'll be able to stand without spitting up :)

Daddy's little girl

Thanks Sandy for the outfit, Lily finally fits into it and got to wear it to church today! Thanks Jenny for the bow it helped hide her bawled spot :)

Tummy Time!

So I've been making sure Lily gets some tummy time everyday lately and sometimes she likes it other times it really ticks her off but I got some pictures of her the other day when she was in a good mood. I apologize ahead of time she was moving a lot so some of the pictures are bit fuzzy.

Lily just taking a nap (I put socks on her hands to keep her from scratching her face up as well as to prevent her from sucking her thumbs, she's tried to on several occasions when there have been no socks to stop her).

Pretty impressive for a two month old :)

This is the only picture I have of Lily smiling and its really only a half smile. This girl is super tricky, she knows when you've got a camera and doesn't like to smile for it so I had to practicly steal this one :)

Projects and Piano!

The following pictures are of the sewing projects I did last semester in my Home Decor class, my mother has been after me for a while to post pictures of them so this is for you mom, hope you enjoy :)

This is my first rag quilt it turned out a lot nicer than I thought it would.

When my Mom was out here helping with Lilly I had one more project to finish (these curtains) she helped design them and walked me through the construction process, thanks mom!

This was my first project in the class, hot pads...I've decided that I'll buy hot pads from here on out they're just a little too much of a pain to make.

Here's my pillow, just look at that job on the zipper its pretty much invisible :)

The pillow was made from some of the leftover material used to make the bumper pads
for the crib.

So last week Eric's parents drove out from Washington to visit us in Rexburg and brought with them their piano. They said it wasn't being used back home and Eric told them we'd love to have it so now I have my very own piano!! Its been so nice to be able to play again any time I feel like it, so a big thanks to Biff and Kim we love having the piano and loved having you visit.

Here's the piano :) Its pretty solid and took six guys to get it down the stairs into our place.

These are the stairs the boys had to maneuver the piano down, surprisingly no one got hurt and the walls only suffered minor injuries.

I apologize that this picture is out of focus but its of the guys working up a sweat getting the piano down the stairs.

Lillian's Blessing Day

Eric found Lillian had pulled her flower headband over her eye during her nap the other day.
This is how it's suppose to be worn, but personally Lillian does a pretty good job of pulling off the "one eyed Jack" look.

Melaine took and edited the following pictures of Lily's Blessing day

So this is Melanie uploading this post, Jewels went to the store and will be back to edit this and write really cute things about each picture!! but I figured that I would just post it anyway so that way you can look at all the fabulous pictures I took! yes it was me.... I am Nacho, an eluchadora..... NACHOOOOOooooooooooooouuuuuu....
