October

So I did make Lily a costume for Halloween this year but she refused to wear it. Sad I know, however we did get a few pictures of her in the costume, mind you they aren't the best because like I mentioned earlier Lily wasn't very cooperative. If you can't guess what she is she's suppose to be a "cute" scarecrow :) maybe next year she'll let me do her hair and makeup and then she'll really look like a "cute" scarecrow. Oh and I've also posted a picture of my growing belly :) Enjoy!

Lily was more interested in eating the skirt then wearing it.
And the poor thing is teething so that's why there's lots of drool spots on her shirt.

Thanks Emma for helping me make the necklace that Lily didn't want to wear :)

Just two more months to go! And still no name :( Boy names are hard and Eric doesn't like any of the ones I like....FrUsTrAtInG!!

Lily's Newest Trick

Yesterday I was trying to clean up the house a bit so I gave Lily a small bowl of Trix cereal to keep her occupied....Well it worked, maybe not in the way I had intended but o'well. Here's a video and a few pictures of Lily having fun with her Trix cereal.

She was originaly licking the trix ball then sticking it under her nose but in this shot she stuffed it up her nose and was keeping it there by sniffing in :)

A Bit of This and That

So lets see about a month ago Eric and I went camping with our friends the Bates. This was Lily's first camping trip and over all she did pretty well ... the falling and staying asleep did present an issue (I guess we've trained our girl too well that sleep time happens in the crib) but we did have lots of fun. In fact while camping Eric and Mike did a little fishing with their bare hands (okay armed with a hatchet and a few sharp sticks but Eric got rid of the hatchet after his first attempt with it didn't go over so well). In the end they managed to catch a rather decent sized salmon which was promptly cleaned, cooked up and devoured :) Fresh salmon is the best.

On Labor Day we went to the Idaho Falls Zoo. Its not very big but it was still fun and Lily enjoyed herself which is what matters right?

Lily doesn't care to hold hands much but some how Eric got her to do it

This little otter was quite the performer and was probably my favorite

They had several of these big guys

Here are some picture of Lily's first bike ride. We don't personally own any bikes but Mel's boyfriend was nice enough to let us borrow some. Lily loved it and Eric and I have decided to save up our money for some bikes... so we probably should see if we can borrow those bikes again since it'll be a while if we wait till we purchase our own :)

I hadn't ridden a bike since I was fourteen so I felt and looked a bit awkward
as you can tell in this picture.

I didn't get a picture of it but when Eric really got going Lily's legs would seriously fly up in the back, it was rather funny looking.

Randomness:

Eric was doing a few push-ups and to Lily this is an invite to climb aboard so she did (just helping Dad make the most of his work out).

Lily's hair is growing and can now fit into a little pony tail

For a while Lily's form of entertainment was to climb through the legs of our piano

Family Pictures

While vacationing in Tahoe California with my side of the family, Eric and I decided to take-up my sister's offer to take a few family pictures for us. So thanks Melanie for taking the pictures and thanks Jenny for letting us use your amazing camera! These are just a few of the pics. Mel took :) Enjoy!

Happy Birthday Lily!

So Lily is 1 and has been for almost a whole month now, yes this post is a bit late but here it is. Lily was not interested at all in getting dirty so we have no footage of her tearing her cupcake apart because it never happened, though Eric did try his hardest to encourage her to do so. She wasn't sure what she was suppose to do with her wrapped presents so we did most of the unwrapping for her.

Lily's hand is messy here because as I mentioned before Eric was determined to have her "destroy" her cupcake so he helped her smash it but Lily didn't care for that too much.

Lily with all of her new presents (mainly toys, a few books and some much needed clothes. This girl is growing like crazy).

Over all I think it was a good first Birthday and I'm sure by her second she'll be a little more exciting to document.

Cool Runnings

Eric ran the Teton Dam half marathon again this year and I made it to the finish line before he did this time around and got a few pictures! They're not very good to be honest but Eric was pleased that I even got some since last year I was too late :)

Here's Eric coming down the last strip of the race, I apologize that its blurry.

Eric is the blue speck crossing the finish line.

Lily wasn't a very happy girl while we were waiting for Eric to come in but she cheered up a bit once Eric was holding her.

Eric was pretty tuckered out after his 13.1 miles that he ran in 1:25.47 and Lily was simply content to lounge on Eric:)

Bad Computer!

So our computer broke again but thankfully its back now and lets just all keep our fingers crossed that it stays working.

I'll be putting up knew posts through out this week since a lot has happened and I really just don't want to cram it all into one post, so stay tuned. Our first post will be a simple video of Lily (I had planned on putting this one up the day out computer broke for the second time in one month, better later then never right?) In this video Lily has mastered the "surprise" look ... hope you enjoy!!

Let's Play Catch Up!

Alright, so for the past two and half weeks we've been without a computer and that's my excuse for slacking in the updating department.

Well I had my 24th birthday on the 22nd of May. I had a joint celebration with my Aunt Esther who lives in town and who's birthday is the day before mine. We had a BBQ and it was a blast! Unfortunately we forgot the camera and therefore have no pictures :( A big thanks to all those who made phone calls or sent birthday cards!!

So we've replaced our old car, which broke on us just around the time our lap-top gave out, with a Toyota Sienna. I never thought I'd be a mini-van person but I'll admit I sure like our Sienna. It drives so much smoother than our little Mazda and I love how much space we have!!

And of course I've got to talk about Lily since it's been a while...Lily's newest trick has been walking!! She's still not completely sure of her self but she's a brave little thing and keeps trying :)
