So for the past couple of months Arthur (my brother-in-law) has been training for his first quadrathlon, which he completed yesterday. It consisted of one way 13 miles bike ride, 5 miles run, 2 miles cross country skiing, and 1 mile snow shoe up to the top of Mt. Taylor. Then you go back down (same distance, same events but in reverse). The weather to be honest was crap, super windy, rainy and rather cold. Winnie the Pooh would have called it a rather "blustery day". So with that said the kids all did a surprisingly good job of waiting for Uncle Arthur/Dad to cross the finish line.... please see Sharee's blog for video and better pictures of race. Just wanted to say way-to-go Arthur for not giving up and finishing your first quadrathlon despite the crummy weather!!

Valentine's Day
So yes I know I'm a bit late on our Valentine's Day post but here it is. Those of you who frequently look at Sharee's blog will already know that we had a little Valentine's dinner together and after wards a balloon fight, which Eric started. Sharee has pictures and I got a small video of the fight hope you enjoy :)
After the video ended I joined in the fight :)
So this was our dessert that night, a Triple Chocolate Mousse Cake (want the recipe click on the following link http://annies-eats.com/ go to categories press desserts, select chocolate and search for mousse cake). It was pretty amazing, I'm not gonna lie and I had planned on getting a "before we dug in" shot but as you can see I forgot and by the time I remembered to document the master piece this is what was left of it :) Come to think of it this could be the reason why the balloon fight broke out in the first place, too much sugar :)
N-e-ways we had a great Valentine's Day this year and hope everyone else did to!

Lily and Caleb
Here are a few pictures of Caleb and Lily from this past month. They are both growing so quickly it's crazy.
Caleb is a pretty easy baby, he's mellow when he's awake but right now he does a lot of sleeping :) so we'll see if his personality changes as he has more awake time.
Gotta love those checks!
Caleb's eyes are open!!
Our dirty clothes basket has become one of Lily's new toys. She likes to empty it of its contents and place her baby dolls, mickey mouse, and the nearest blanket in it then push it around or she'll get in it as well and then usually at some point it tips over :) Its rather entertaining to watch.
Lily was trying to take off her shirt by herself and it got stuck around her head and as a good parent I ran and grabbed the camera instead of helping her get it off so I could document this event :)
Eric and I sure love these two!!
