Pictures
So Lily is a little yellow and my mom mentioned that setting her in the sun should help with breaking down the jaundice, so today Lily did a little bit of sunbathing during her nap time.

Lily is a sleeper and this is one of the few shots we have of her with her eyes open. I affectionately call it "The Mug Shot". The widows peak is Eric's as is the nose, cheeks, eyebrows, "wickedly good looks" as Eric puts it, infact the only thing that might be me is the crooked pinky. She's definately daddy's little girl.
Here is my mom sunbathing with Lily. My mom has been out here since sunday doing everything from cooking, cleaning, washing, stocking our fridge with delicious food, feeding Lily, watching chick flicks with me, and weeding my very small section of a garden. My mom is truly amazing and I don't know what I'm going to do when she goes home. Thanks mom for everything you've done, you're the best and I love you so very much!!!

Lillian Has Arrived!
At 6:00 am on Friday Jewels woke me up saying she was going into labor and that her water had broken. I thought she was kidding at first, then when she didn't laugh I knew she was serious. So we packed all the necessities and sped off to the hospital and checked in. Jewels was already dialated to 5 cm and sure enough her water had broken. A couple hours, an epidural, lots of ice and a few good pushes Lillian Loween Anderson was born; 11:38 am MST July 10th, 2009 to be exact. Jewels was strong throughout the labor, she would quietly count and focus on breathing when contractions came. Jewels says the worst part of the whole thing was the 5 attempts to getting an I.V. into her wrists, her veins are so small even the seasoned nurses had difficulty keeping a good flow. Well both baby and Mom are safe and recovering and I'm becoming less tired.
Lily came 2 weeks early and still weighed in at a healthy weight of 7 pounds 10 ounces, she was 19 inches long, has a little dark brown hair, she's also a good mix of both her Mom and Dad.
Lily and Dad at the hospital.
Lily and Mom a couple days later.
Thanks to all those who have helped and given support; Mom, Dad and Lily really appreciate it. We have Lily's Nona (Jewels Mom) coming to help for a week, then Natalie (Jewels sister) will come and help and then Lily's Grandparents on the Anderson side, will come to help. Mel's also been a great help to us also.
Most of all I want to thank Julianne for the many sacrifices she has made during our marriage and especially with our first born, Lily, I love you Jewels!

4th of July Weekend
So since I can't travel very far away from Rexburg, being very large with child, Eric and I spent the fourth of July weekend within a two hour radius of Rexburg. On Friday we drove over to Mesa Falls and spent the day out in the "wild" with a couple from our ward. Saturday we had a barbaque and homemade icecream with the same couple we spent (the Bates). Friday with. Later that night we headed out to Idaho Falls to see the fireworks, they set them off by the Snake River (right next to the Temple). The Fireworks were pretty impressive, the traffic however was horrible, it took us one hour to just get out of the parking lot and onto the main road toward the highway. Over all we had a good Fourth of July despite the fact that we couldn't spend it with family.

The Bates got a camp site to stay at over night but I wasn't willing since Eric and I have no mattress and I would have had to get up at least three times during the night to go to the bathroom. However we did stay long enough to make tin foil dinners, s'mores and a super cool shelter thing because it started to rain :)

The pole reading is not entirely correct. Eric is tall yes but I'm not that short, the ground was not even at all.
