So lets see about a month ago Eric and I went camping with our friends the Bates. This was Lily's first camping trip and over all she did pretty well ... the falling and staying asleep did present an issue (I guess we've trained our girl too well that sleep time happens in the crib) but we did have lots of fun.
In fact while camping Eric and Mike did a little fishing with their bare hands (okay armed with a hatchet and a few sharp sticks but Eric got rid of the hatchet after his first attempt with it didn't go over so well). In the end they managed to catch a rather decent sized salmon which was promptly cleaned, cooked up and devoured :)
Fresh salmon is the best.

On Labor Day we went to the Idaho Falls Zoo. Its not very big but it was still fun and Lily enjoyed herself which is what matters right?

Lily doesn't care to hold hands much but some how Eric got her to do it

This little otter was quite the performer and was probably my favorite

They had several of these big guys

Here are some picture of Lily's first bike ride. We don't personally own any bikes but Mel's boyfriend was nice enough to let us borrow some. Lily loved it and Eric and I have decided to save up our money for some bikes... so we probably should see if we can borrow those bikes again since it'll be a while if we wait till we purchase our own :)

I hadn't ridden a bike since I was fourteen so I felt and looked a bit
awkwardas you can tell in this picture.

I didn't get a picture of it but when Eric really got going Lily's legs would seriously fly up in the back, it was rather funny looking.
Randomness:

Eric was doing a few push-ups and to Lily this is an invite to climb aboard so she did (just helping Dad make the most of his work out).

Lily's hair is growing and can now fit into a little pony tail

For a while Lily's form of entertainment was to climb through the legs of our piano
