So as of 2:30 this morning Caleb, the newest member of our little growing family, is a week old. I apologize to those who have anxiously been awaiting pictures of this little guy but things have been busy :)
Caleb was four days shy of his official due date, weighed in at 8lbs. 3oz. and measured 20 and 1/2 inches long. His was a quick birth, we arrived at the hospital around 1:30 and he was born an hour later. There was no time for an epidural or an IV. It looks like next time we'll be scheduling an inducement since this one was cutting it a little too close for my liking :) We're just grateful that Caleb is finally here and doing well.Father and Son
My wonderful mother is here this week and I'm so grateful for her and her willingness to help, she is an angel and I love her so much!
Lily loves "Baby Caleb" we just have to supervise her time with him or he could end up losing an eye since Lily loves to poke at them. She also enjoys tugging at his ears, pulling at his short hair and playing with his nose.
Here Lily is giving Caleb a kiss
Lily has just learned where her chin is, she's pointing Caleb's out for us.
I'm way lucky to be living so close to my oldest sister Sharee. She was super awesome and helped watch Lily for us during the birth and during the days while Eric was gone to school and I was still in the hospital. So thank you Sharee for everything you're amazing and I love you!
Sharee's two oldest, Daphne and Dallin, came to visit me in the hospital (they snuck a chocolate "hand scooped" shake in for me, it was so tasty).
This is our current family picture, we'll definitely be taking another one sometime soon and I wont be wearing p.j.s
