"O We Got Trouble!"

Caleb has set a new record in our home this past week. Normally I'd say we have one, possibly two, major messes that the kids make per week that really makes me mad, simply because its not a typical mess but what I like to call a "naughty" mess.

It all began Thursday early morning when Caleb pulled a carton of eggs out of the fridge and started smashing the eggs on the carpet. Thankfully Lily tattled on him before he could destroy the whole carton.

Friday afternoon Lily decided to switch up roles.  It turns out "informer" just isn't as fun or exciting as being Caleb's number 2 in a butter smearing contest! Location? Their room. Main targets? Bunk bed posts and bedroom window. Those two got a quick bath (no play time, strictly cleaning) and then were sent to bed an hour before their normal bed time, without any dinner.  Later that night Eric went out and bought a fridge lock :) we love it!

Saturday I remember thinking that I hadn't heard much noise from Caleb, which is never a good sign and when I found him he was in our guest bedroom with a container of vasoline rubbing it all over some plastic storage tubs.  He got another short bath and a long time out.

And finally, Sunday afternoon, while Eric and I were both busy with ward choir in our front room, Caleb quietly went into his bathroom and smeared Lily's bright, pink, princess toothpaste all over the bathroom and the white shirt he was wearing.

Yes, we have had a Very busy week full of "Naughty" messes....

Prayers and donations are greatly appreciated at this time :)

I'm joking about the donations part but wouldn't mind the prayers cause I am seriously at a loss on how to tame this lovable but wild boy.
